I’ve always like the M sport packages but this time I rather take the other trims. The weird kink line to the headlights is making my eyes twitch

I sometimes kind of wish the Germans would take more of the retro approach for a couple generations (like some of the American classics have done), then maybe they’d find a way to take it easy on the visual busyness.

They all end up looking the same because they compete so closely I guess and the companies study the rest of the class and don’t make drastic leaps in design.

I agree. The last 6-7 years from BMW have been horribly disappointing. I like the M2 for what it is, but I still don’t love the way it looks.

I feel the S Cabriolet has this problem in amg and sport trim levels.

The standard car is a fine looking thing. But the hotted up models look bloated and busy

As soon as the “eyes” made contact with the “nostrils”, they lost me.

I do hope that the next M3 is legitimately awesome, though. The reviews of the M5 make me think it will be.

I didn’t like at first back in 2012 as well but they’ve grown on me. Nevertheless compared to this g20 the current Msport package looks handsome IMO.

Except for that STUPID hood shut line of course.

I think if I had an F30/80  I might have to change out the chrome kidneys with body color ones (or something).

They fixed it, but now it appears the hood shut line is part of the kidney design.

So when you open that hood, part of the kidneys go with it. Or at least it appears it’ll be that way
